Kudret Kurtcebe won recognition with his first rock album “Şizofren” (Schizoid) released in 1999. The composition and lyrics of all songs in the album belongs to the musician himself. The album gathered attention with its lyrics having messages of social weight. His song “Çocuk” (The Child) which took part in the compiled album “Kent Ozanları” also gained appreciation.  Kurtcebe believes that rock is the music of socialism.
