Nekropsi

Nekropsi (Necropsy)
Nekropsi is a progressive rock band founded in 1989.  Although they never had a constant bass guitarist till 2007, three years after the foundation they formed their ideal cadre with Cevdet (drum and vocal), Cem (guitar and vocal) and Tolga (guitar and vocal). Their first instrumental album “Mi Kubbesi” (The Mi Dome) was released in 1996 with the label of Ada Music. The album they did not limit with a certain style was a very experimental and a little risky one for the Turkish music market of the time. The same year they won the award of “the best Avant-garde Band” in the Roxy Music Days. They took part in many university and youth festivals. They performed as the sub-group in the 1998 concert of Jimmy Page & Robert Plant and in the 2001 concert of Alanis Morisette. With their live performances in various places they won a large number of fans. With the attendance of the previous bass-guitarist of the band Kurban, Kerem, the band released their extraordinary second album in 2007.
