Sevinç Eratalay
Sevinç Eratalay Born in Burdur, after graduating from the Music department of İzmir Buca Faculty of Education in 1980 Eratalay composed her first song in Burdur Prison in 1982. Her first album was released in the year 1987. She won great recognition during the time both with her voice and compositions. He gave numerous concerts at home and abroad. She worked with many famous musicians such as Arif Sağ, Ahmet Koç, Mehmet Gümüş, Onur Akın, Yavuz Bingöl, Ferhat Tunç, Ahmet Kaya and Selda Bağcan. And she composed the poems of various poets including Nazım Hikmet, Enver Gökçe and Ahmet Arif. In correspondance with the minstrel tradition, she got on the stage with her baglama and became one of the important names who carry on this rooted tradition. Among the most renowned compositions of the musician who actively carries on her projects are “Eylem Güzeli,” “Akşam Erken İner Mahpushaneye,” “Mahir’in T&uu.....
