Yeninur Ada
She was born in Elazığ as the daugter of a family of Tunceli origin. During her school years she took baglama lessons from Elazığ Music Society. In 1993 she entered State Classical Turkish Music Conservatory of Ege University to study voice training. After two years she left the school to come to Istanbul and released her first album “Turnalar” with the label of Ada Music. In time she became known as a baglama virtuoso and got recognition with her brilliant voice. Her second album “Hazan Oldu” in 1999. She also joined the folk music band Umuda Ezgi as the soloist. And her third solo album “Kuşlar Gibiyim” was released in 2004. The same year she took part in the project called Three Women with accomplished musicians Yasemin Göksu and Sumru Ağıryürüyen. She successfully carries on her music career with new projects.
