İksir (Ixir) The band was founded by Osman Refik Akyüz and Borga Parlar in 1999. Osman Refik Akyüz took bass guitar and harmony lessons from Ahmet Güvenç in Timur Selçuk Music School in 1992. The following year he went to America to study recording engineering. On his return to Turkey he made the recordings and mixings of the first album of “Mor ve Ötesi” as well as the albums of other musicians such as Coşkun Demir and the music band Mask. In 1996 he produced the first album of the music band Atonall released from his own music company Ora Music. In 1997 his composition “Happy” was released by Synthphony Records in the compiled album “Voices In The Dark.” And  International Biographical Centre gave him a place in the book International Who´s Who In Popular Music published in 1999 by Routledge.  ...
