Mehmet Gümüş
Mehmet Gümüş Born in Fatsa he got interested in music in his early childhood with the influence of his family. During his high school years he founded a few music bands and took part in the projects of other musicians. He graduated from the Music department of Gazi University Institute of Education Sciences, and he was appointed to Fatsa High School as a music teacher. There he organized many events with his students, founded school orchestras and choirs. His first album “Gülyangını Ömrümüz” (Our Life is a Fire of Roses) was released in 1990. It followed with four subsequent albums; “Halk Konserleri” (1992), “Gülümsedik Gökyüzüne” (1994), “Solmasın Yüzün” (1998) and “Korkarım Gideceksin” (2004). Among the instruments he plays are the baglama, kemancha, violoncello and the piano. He is also producing music for the theatre and making children’s songs. &nbs.....
