Yağmur Öncesi The experimental folk music band was founded in 1986 by the students of Folklore in the Middle East Technical University (METU). The band founded by Barış Atakan, Cenk Güray, Kutad Alptürksan, Abdurrahman Tarikçi and Fırat Özdemir has released two albums up till now. Their album “Nisan” (April) was released in 2002 with the label of Ada Music. The album features a creative blend of conventional folk music with various music styles....
