Çağdaş Mevlana Aşıkları The group was founded by Hasan Dede (Çıkar), the Spiritual Master of The Universal Lovers of Mevlana Foundation in 1989 with the attendance of men and women coming from different backgrounds. The goal of the group is to keep alive the values and world view of Mevlana and to make them widely known. They carry on their works under the roof of the Preservers of the Galata Mevlevi Temple Association and The Universal Lovers of Mevlana Foundation. Up until today they have produced  four albums, organized twelve Mevlevi rituals in Turkish and composed nearly three hundred hymns. They attended many events both at home and abroad. In addition to concerts they also organized seminars, conferences and Sema Ceremonies in countries including America, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan....
