Tacettin Ocak & Ataç Aydın The paths of Tacettin Ocak and Ataç Aydın crossed for the first time in 1988. Their common passion for the folk musics of the people of world brought them together. They tried to represent the universality and fraternity of music via their guitar and mandolin. Their album “Dünya Folkundan Seçmeler” (United Colors of the World) was released in 1990 with the label of Ada Music. The album consists of folk songs from Russia, Greece, Ireland, Turkey, Italy and Chile. During the same period Ocak and Aydın founded the music band Suya Türkü (Ballad to Water) with Hasan Yükselir and Hasan Bektaş. In their forthcoming projects they’re planning to give weight to Turkish folk music. ...
