İmran Salkan
İmran Salkan was born in İstanbul as the daughter of a family of Albanian origin that moved from Macedonia to Istanbul. Her music life began when he entered the chorus in the elementary school and she continued with the piano. After completing four years of piano and solfege education in Istanbul M.K.M Academy, she took voice lessons. She developed a rich repertory of Balkan songs and made projects with various musicians and orchestras including Selim Sesler, Serkan Çağrı-Rumeli Band and Üç Kadın. She gave many concerts both at home and abroad. She made TV and radio programs such as “Balkan Ateşi” in TRT. At the moment she continues her solo projects with her rich orchestra. Her first solo album “Balkan Şarkıları” (Balkan Songs) was released in 2010 with the label of Ada Music....
