Pervin Chakar
Pervin Chakar Soprano Kurdish Soprano Pervin Chakar was born in Mardin in Turkey and studied vocals under Oylun Erdayı. She obtained a Master’s Degree from Conservatoire F. Morlacchi in Perugia under the guidance of Michela Sburlati. She participated in several masterclasses, including with Montserrat Caballé, Luciana Serra, Lella Cuberli, Salvatore Fisichella, Mietta Sighele, Veriano Luchetti and Tiziana Fabbricini. She won several international competitions , such as; • The 28th International “Maria Caniglia” Singing Competition (1st Place and Special prize of the Lotte Lehmann Foundation in New York for best female voice, Sulmona, Italy) • The 15th International Singing Competition Città di Alcamo ( 2nd Place, Sicily) • The 10th International Ottavio Ziino Singing Competition ( Special Prize of the Angelica Tuccari and Audience Prize, Rome) • The 6th International Leyla Gencer Vocal Competition (3rd Place, Istanbul) • .....
