Eylem Aktaş
Eylem Aktaş Born in 1980 in Batman she completed her elementary and secondary education here. Then she moved to Istanbul for high school and university education. She completed her voice training in Pera Fine Arts High School and took part in various concerts here. She entered Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Turkish Folk Music Department in 2004. After completing five years of vocal training here, she took part in many Turkish and Kurdish albums as a vocalist. A few of these albums are ‘Kurakta Yağmurlar’ (Ekrem Ataer),  ‘Bahara Çağrı’ (Grup Munzur), ‘Musikar’ (Gülbahar), ‘Keça Kurdan’ (Aynur), ‘Jı te dûr bum’ (İbrahim Rojhılat), ‘Bir Kıyıdan’ (Erdal Güney). She gained recognition with her vocal performance in the soundtrack of the TV Series “Hatırla Sevgili” which was broadcasted in 2006.
