Mehmet Eti
Born in the Çamlıhemşin district of Rize in 1985 the musical talent he took from his family was discovered in his early ages. He soon began to attend to musical instruments. In 1999 he entered Niğde Anatolian School of Fine Arts in the first rank. During the four years in the school he received education on Western music, harmony, singing, chorus, piano, guitar and transverse flute. He performed in various classical music orchestras with his transverse flute. He concurrently performed as a soloist in various music bands he founded with friends. Beginning from his high school education he has begun to compose his own songs. In 2003 he entered the the department of music education in Malatya İnönü University. During his years at the university he furthered his musical experience taking part in Turkish folk music, Turkish classical music, Western classical music and Jazz orchestras as a transverse flute, bass-guitar and acoustic guitar player. Meanwhile he also improved himself in the field of film music. He gave many concerts and took part in many projects with his university music band. After graduating from the university in 2007 he moved to Ankara and began to gain recognition with his live performances, concerts and various projects. In the year 2010 he set out to record his own compositions in Dora Production (Ankara), the recordings undertaken by Burak Çağlar Özdemir. And he released his first acoustic-rock album “Sınav” with the label of Ada Music in 2011.
