The associate producer and the performer of the Project “Doğa İçin Çal” (Play for Nature) Ersan Özcan was born in Akcaabat, Trabzon in 1982.
After completing his primary and secondary education in Trabzon, he graduated from the Physical Training and Sports College in Marmara University, Istanbul.
Having taken part in the choruses of all the schools he entered for his zest for music, Ersan Özcan began his musical career after the guitar lessons he took from Çengelköy Music Association. He has taken part in many concerts and events since 2001.
After taking part in various projects without a cease in his professional music career, he involved in the universal project “Doğa için Çal” in 2009. Within the scope of the project which was broadcasted both in TV channels and in social networking sites, he gathered the attention of thousands of listeners with his performance of the song “Divane Aşık Gibi”. He also participated in the projects Doğa İçin Çal 2 and Doğa İçin Çal 3 as an associate producer and a performer. He thinks that the project itself is the sign that people from all over the world can do good things for Nature in peace.
Having lived in Trabzon for many years he has had a deep concern in local musicians and kemancha players. After living in Istanbul for eleven years, his longing for his homeland has urged him to make studies and compilations on the music of the Black Sea. He completed his fisrt solo album with the arrangements of Fuat Saka. Ersan Özcan is stil pursuing his professional music career with the project ''Doğa İçin Çal''.
