The band is founded in 1982 by İlhan, Burhan and Gökhan Şeşen. The professional music career of the band began in 1983 with the musical comedy "Kadıncıklar" (performed by Levent Kırca Company) for which they produced music.
The band pursued producing music for the theatre with Ferhan Şensoy's play “İçinden Tramvay Geçen Şarkı,” Levent Kırca and Oya Başar Company’s performances “Aşağı Yukarı,” “Gereği Düşünüldü” and “Hangi Yüzle”. The band also performed music in various prestigious night clubs of Istanbul. In 1989 the band produced the famous generic music of the popular television comedy programme “Olacak O Kadar” and the band members took part in the sketches as guest actors several times.
Giving many concerts in numerous cities of Turkey the band also represented Turkey in music contests arranged in Malesia and Egypt. They released their first album “Bir Yaz Daha Bitiyor” in 1986. In the album especially the songs “Bir Yaz Daha Bitiyor,” “Sen Benim Şarkılarımsın” and “Sarmaş Dolaş” were met with great favour and they are still recognized as the unforgettables of Turkish pop music.
In 1989 the third album of the band called “Bir Günlük Aşk” was released. In the album the songs “Bahar Oldum,” “Hayallerimi Bırak,” “Güneş Buluta Girdi” and “Yol Aldım Sevdalardan” are inscribed in gold letters to the music history of the country. Yet indeed the band boomed with the album “Ankara'dan Abim Geldi” released in 1992. The top songs of the album were “Gibi Gibiyim,” “Beni Aldatma” and “Ankara'dan Abim Geldi” which named the album.
In 1994 the band members decided to suspend joint work for a while. In the meanwhile the band member Burhan Şeşen released his first solo album “Bir Düş Gördüm” in 1996. This was followed with the second album “1, 2, 3... Tıp” released in 2004.
In 1998 the bests album of the band was released with the name “Mest Of Gündoğarken”. The song called “Rüzgâr” which they added to the album won great recognition. In January 2000 the album “İstanbul-Atina-İstanbul” was released and the song “Ellerimde Çiçekler” were in everyone’s lips for months. The band released its eighth album “Hayat Bu” in 2008.
The band is pursuing its musical journey with Burhan and Gökhan Şeşen.
