Oğuz Sırmalı
Oguz Sirmali born in Ankara in 1977, he became a student of M.Yalçın Davran after attending Hacettepe University Ankara state conservatory in 1997. By accepting the invitation from Leyla Gencer and a scholarship support from Turkish Ministry of Culture he entered “La Scala Opera”s academic trials in 2001 and advanced to final sessions. In year 2002, he won the Young Opera Artists competition organized by Professional Voice Association and in the same year with the special education scholarship support from Turkish Ministry of Culture he joined studies with soprano Katleen Lafferty in Florence. After completing his conservatory education with a third degree and the special prize of the Prof.İhsan Dogramacı Student Success in 2004, he then earned a scholarship from M. Daniel Ferro and joined the summer course in Italy. Covering the 2004 and 2005 season, he was seen on the stage for the first time in Izmir Opera and in the year of 2005, he joined the Ankara State Opera .....
