Born in1968 in Istanbul, after receiving his bachelor’s degree from the department of Labor Economics in Marmara University Vural completed his MBA in Finance in San Diego. In the ensuing years Vural entered the State Conservatory of Istanbul University to receive opera and vocal training.

In1989 he received his first Grand prize in the best lyrics&music in the category of rock in Adalar Music Contest.

In 1995 he accompanied the famous band MFÖ as a vocalist.

In 1996 he received the Grand prize for the second time with the lyrics & music of the song Serüven Azizleri in Tuborg Rock Music Contest.

He founded the band Serüven in 1998 and the first namesake album of the band was released by EMI.

During his career Vural accompanied miscellaneous bands and musicians such as MFÖ, Bulutsuzluk Özlemi, Yavuz Çetin, Mehmet Güreli, Ajda Pekkan, Nilüfer and Zeynep Casalini both with his stage and studio performances, vocals and guitar, and with his lyrics and compositions.

He performed with the band Yüksek Sadakat as a soloist, composer and lyricist from October 2007 to August 2012. He performed with the band in the studio albums Katil & Maktul and Renk Körü. In the year 2011 he represented Turkey in the Eurovision Music Contest with the band.

Vural has been working on his first solo album comprising of his own lyrics and compositions since 2012, which will be released with the label of Ada Music in April 2013.

Beside his musical endeavours, Vural writes his recollections of seafaring and sailing on his personal blog named Pruvamdaki Sonsuzluk.
