Çağdaş Toprak
Born in Hatay, Kırıkhan as the fifth child of a middling family (coming from Elbistan) Çağdaş Toprak developed a passion for music in his early ages with the inspiration of the melodies he heard from the musical conversations of his father, uncle and grandfather. Completing his secondary education in Kırıkhan, he went abroad in 1995. He stayed in Greece, Germany, France and Sweden (where he still lives) respectively. Çağdaş Toprak continued his music career whereever he went, founding several music bands and taking part in various projects. He released his first solo album “Asi Sevdalar” in which he included songs in various languages in 2008. A video-clip was shot for the song “Maral” from the album. After a five years break in music production, Çağdaş Toprak came together with Nail Yurtsever, Cem Tuncer, Ercüment Orkun and Öner Gerçek for his new and long worked on Project “Renkler” (Colours).
