She was born in Istanbul and her childhood passed in various places in Anatolia due to her father’s job. Yet Ankara was the city she liked best among these places. She worked as gymnastics referee, translator and steno teacher. She also worked in Daily Times as an assistant. She took theatre, mime, dance and voice training. For a while she worked as a chorist in the opera. She made studies about the folk songs of other cultures. She can sing in more than eighteen languages. She has given diplomatic concerts in Portugal, Malesia, Turkmenistan, and took part in many international festivals. Yet what she considers most important is being a street singer travelling as best as she can. Having already five albums, she’s actively carrying on her music career.
