In honor of the twentieth anniversary of its foundation, the staff has come together again to dynamize the band with new albums and concerts. The band has met with its fans via twenty concerts organized in various cities including Istanbul under the heading “The Twentieth Anniversary Concerts” during the year 2011. This refreshment is now crowned with the album “Doğdum Ben Memlekette” (And I was Born in the Homeland) released with the label of Ada Music. The compositions and the lyrics of eleven songs in the album belong to Cenk Taner, while the arrangements are made by Can Alper, Tansu Kızılırmak, Emre Sarıtunalılar and Cenk Taner. The song “Eğ Başını Eğeceksen” (Bend Your Head If You Will) which was performed acoustically by Cenk Taner in the compiled album “Kent Ozanları I” (1998), yet never appeared in the previous albums of the band meets with the listeners with a brand new arrangement in the new album. The first video clip of the album has been shot by Özkan Aksular for the opening song “Atlar Dönmedi” (The Horses didn’t Return). The band is preparing to meet its fans with its new songs via an extensive concert series in the forthcoming period.

The band defines its listeners keeping company with it in this long journey as such: “It is the listener of Kesmeşeker who is an immense minority characterized not with the question ‘how many’ but with ‘who’…”
