Replikas
The staff of the band consists of Gökçe Akçelik, Barkın Engin, Orçun Baştürk, Selçuk Artut and Burak Tamer. Their first album “Köledoyuran” and the second album “Dadaruhi” were released in 2000 and 2002. The two albums widely acclaimed by music critics were pointed at among the best native productions. These albums won recognition also abroad and took part in the play lists of various foreign radios. Commentaries and interviews were published in various magazines. The band also produced music for films such as “Maruf” (directed by Serdar Akar in 2001) and “İki Genç Kız” (directed by Kutluğ Ataman in 2005) for which they received “the Best Film Music” award of SİYAD (Turkish Film Critics Association) in 2006. They also took part in Fatih Akın’s documentary film “İstanbul Hatırası” (Crossing the Bridge: The Sound os Istanbul). Their album “Avaz” was released in 2005 with the production of Wharton Tiers. They gave many concerts both at home and abroad. In 2006 the soundtracks of the band were released in a compiled album. The fifth album of the band, “Zerre” was released in 2008. They successfully carry on their music career with new projects.
