Ayşe Tütüncü
Ayşe Tütüncü Her music education began at five when she found herself in a music room full of children with various instruments in their hands. At seven years old she began to study the piano at the conservatory where she developed a passion for chamber music. In 1983 she founded her first music band Mozaik which was marked with a kind of fusion music; a mosaic of rock, western classical music, traditional Turkish music and jazz. The band produced four albums until they parted in 1995. Then Ayşe Tütüncü took part in another music band Kömür with which she performed improvised live music in various music houses. She collaborated with with the successful vocalist Sumru Ağıryürüyen in a concerts series project in which they performed songs celebrating the female form. She also took part in various projects with renowned musicians and bands such as Bülent Ortaçgil, Yeni Türkü, Ezginin Günlüğü, Mehmet G&.....
