Erdal Güney & Hilmi Yarayıcı Hilmi Yarayıcı is a Turkish folk and protest musician known as the legendary soloist of the widely acclaimed protest music band, Grup Yorum. He joined the group in 1988. Although he departed in 1995, he continued to give support to the group in concerts and albums. In 1995 he entered the Istanbul Technical University (ITU) State Conservatory and took part in ITU Polyphonic Western Music Chorus. Both before and after the conservatory he took voice and opera lessons from various masters. Apart from his solo albums, he also produced music for various TV series and films. He is stil working as a music teacher in Kasımpaşa High School. With Erdal Güney he produced a soundtrack album called “Unutulmayanlar” (Unforgettables) in 2007.
