Vova
Vova was created by the worries of Hikmet Akçiçek witnessing that his mother tongue, Hamshetsnak, was dissappearing day by day. He recorded anonymous Hamshetsnak melodies and took great effort to make it into an album. Vova means, ''What is” in Hamshetsnak?, and the album , which was released in November 2005 by Ada Music, is being the very first album that was sang in Hamshetsnak in the world. Vova expressed its homeland, its philosophy of existence and happiness by the submission of Garmi Doç; Some are a mountain, a sea, a stream, some highland, a melody, a sound of the destiny of people… The mountain of Kaçkar, the rock of Verçenik, Karanlıkmeşe, İnce Xarxan and Bilbilan Plateaus, are both the destiny and the cure for everything, just like panacea… Perhaps a village house, a cold stream, a mountain filled with thousand of flowers or perhaps a witty saying, something that is troubling will make you link to life,it won't let yo.....
